Narrated from Abu Hurayrah:
The Prophet (PBUH) said: “The best medical treatment you apply is cupping”
Narrated Jabir:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If there is any healing in your medicines then it is a cupping operation, or branding (cauterization), but I do not like to be (cauterized) branded"
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Healing is in three things: A gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire (cauterizing). But I forbid my followers to use (cauterization) branding with fire”
Jabir reported that he visited Muqanna' and then said:
“I will not go away unless you get yourself cupped, for I heard Allah's Messenger (PBUH) say: It is a remedy”
Narrated Abu Hurayrah:
The Prophet (PBUH) said: “If anyone has himself cupped on the 17th, 19th and 21st it
will be a remedy for every disease”
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
‘When the Prophet (PBUH) was cupped, he paid the man who cupped him his wages’.
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
‘Allah's Messenger (PBUH) was cupped while he was in a state of Ihram’
