Dates
Date is a product of the date palm. Commonly found in the middle eastern region. The date fruit comes in many different varieties (Barhi, Deglet noor, Halawy, Khadrawy, Medjool, Saidi, Thoory etc) and is one of the sweetest fruits around.
Date fruit can be eaten fresh but most commonly eaten dried. Whether fresh or dry, the health benefits of dates are still abundant. From a health point of view, the natural sugar in dates is by far better than the highly refined white sugar that we eat today.
Dates Narration
I heard Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) saying “Whoever takes seven dates in the morning will not be effected by magic or poison on that day”
Narrated Sa’d:
Sahih Al Bukhari
“O A’ishah, a house in which there are no dates, its people will go hungry”
Prophet (PBUH) said:

Dates are considered as one of the essential foods from the Sunnah.

Honey
Honey is a naturally sweet, liquid made from the nectar of flowers and collected by honey bees. It comes in numerous varieties with different colours, textures and flavours.
The flavour, colour and sweetness of ho/ney depend on which type of flower the nectar was collected from.
Honey Narration
“There comes forth from the bellies, a drink of varying color wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is indeed a sign for people who think”
Soorah Al-Nahl
16:69
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If there is any healing in your medicines then it is a cupping operation, or branding (cauterization), but I do not like to be (cauterized) branded"

Honey and Good Health

Olive
The olive tree is a plant that grows to about 10 meters with a grey twisted trunk. It has spear shaped leaves which are greyish green on top and silvery white on the bottom. Its white flowers grow in clusters, and its fruit (the olive) is oval shaped containing only one stone. The olive begins as a green fruit and ripens to black.
The olive tree and olive oil are mentioned in the Quran many times. The olive is praised as a precious fruit. Olive tree and olive-oil health benefits have been also established in the Prophetic medicine.
Olive Narration
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Season (your food) with olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree”

“And (we bought forth) a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat”
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah said:
Soorah al-mu’minun
Olive oil is rich in chlorophyll (green pigment found in plants and herbs) which has been shown to bind to toxins, pesticides, heavy metals, chemical etc. and detoxify them from the body.

Black Seed
Black seed also known as ‘Nigella Sativa seed’ or ‘Black Cumin seed’, is a tiny, black, thick shaped cumin seed. They are slightly curved with a rough distinct texture that make them unique and easy to identify. Its origins are from North Africa, Mediterranean/Europe, and Asia, and have since spread far throughout the globe and is regarded as one of the most effective natural remedies.
Black Seed Narration
The Prophet (PBUH) said: 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam (death)'.
